 ❤ This is a MUST READ!!!!!
 ❤ I know you are ready to do that FRESH sew-in install or u-part wig!!! You just want to hurry up & lay them tracks down so you can rock that NEW NEW hairstyle!!! You got your hair, your comb, clips, needle, and thread. You just completed your braid pattern and now it is time for you to grab that needle/thread and go to work. Before you can start that you have to thread those PESKY needles!!! You might be threading 2-5 needles for your install. As for me, I tend to thread at least 15 needles and this can seem like forever. ❤ I wanted to talk to you dolls today and tell you bout my experience purchasing Ali Express hair. I know some of you have purchased or know someone that purchased hair from Ali Express website. I was a little bit skeptical about this website. Why???? The hair is mainly offered from Chinese suppliers. I knew if it was coming from Chinese suppliers, the hair couldn't be pure Virgin hair. At the time I needed me some hair YALL!!! I made the ulitmate decision to go find me some Ali Express hair. Before I decided to purchase some hair from a particular company, I had to do my research. I took to my favorite search engine: YouTube. I looked at hundreds of videos from beautiful ladies showing off their Ali Express hair. Some videos was dishing out some HELLA shade on the companies that was offering bad hair but there were a lot of videos on this certain company called Queens Hair. I know all you have heard of Queens Hair. They offer a lot of textures of hair. The videos I watched stated that Queens hair was the BOMB.com. So I said "Why not?"

❤ I purchased 2 bundles of the Virgin Brazilian Natural Wavy hair. I believe I got a 16 inch & 20 inch. I recieved the hair in a short period of time. I thought the communication with the suppliers wasnt so good. I posted a question and they took almost a week to respond back to me. What's up with THAT!!

❤ When I got the hair it was a little dry and the ends were a little ratchet. I took out my FAVORITE product: Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner and went to work on this hair. I deep conditioned the hair for 1 hour and rinsed with cool water. I hung the hair up in my shower to let it air dry. The hair felt and looked so much better.

❤ I did a sew-in wevae using both bundles and installed my Virgin Malaysian Natural Wavy 14 inch silk base closure. I purchased this closure from http://www.silkbaseclosure.com

❤ After I installed the hair, I was really feeling myself. The hair was absolutley gorgeous.  I didnt experience any major issues such as excess shedding or tangling. I did seal the wefts with Dritz Fray Check to prevent excess shedding.

❤ I left my sew-in weave in for a month and co-washed almost every week. I shampooed and deep conditioned the hair twice. The products I used was Herbal Essences Hello Hydration & Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition.

❤ While wearing the hair for a month I did do various hairstyles using heating tools. I think I probably used too much heat on the hair becuase I was curling that hair every few days but I didnt experience any damage. I straightened and curled the hair using a flat-iron, curling iron, and curling wand.

❤ Overall, I loved this hair. I installed the hair twice before I laid it to rest. There was minimal shedding and tangling. The hair curled and straigthened beautifully. From my experience with virgin hair, I knew the hair was not completely virgin. If you don't know Chinese suppliers lace their virgin hair wefts with other type of hairs. The price was really inexpensive and I got a good use out of the hair. I was happy with my purchase!!!

I am going to give you my HONEST opinion about how I feel about these products. I will also give details about what I experienced with my hair extensions and natural hair.

❤ QT Performance 1-1/2 Curling Wand ❤



This curling wand is the BIGGEST curling wand I have seen and used. On flatironexperts website, the products costs $109.99.

I used the wand on my Virgin Uzbekistan Natural Wave Hair. I received this hair from Anisa Hair Company http://www.anisahairproducts.com I made a u-part wig w/ a lace closure. The lengths I have in are 24, 20,18 and 14inch for the closure. This hair very beautiful. No tangling and minimal shedding. Check out my videos on the Anisa Hair.

QT curling wand heats up to 430 degrees. It has a Hi & Low heat setting and does get hot really fast. The wand does come with a black glove to prevent burning your hands or fingers. Before I used the curling wand I applied KQC Thermal Shine spray on my hair. I curled my hair in small sections and it took me 20 minutes to curl my entire head.

❤ Pros ❤

The curling wand is very good. It is lightweight and it comes with a swivel cord so you wont experience tangling of the cord. It heats up really fast and has a high temperature setting (430). I like the way the curling wand looks as well as the box it came in. In the box, you receive the curling wand glove and an instruction manual.

❤ Cons ❤

After using the curling wand I noticed that you dont achieve a defined curl. I know the curling wand is big but I thought I would get a better curl. This curling wand will only allow you to achieve loose type curls. Some sections of my hair I had to repeat the curling process to acheive a better looking curl. The curling wand does not come with a temperature dial so you are able to choose your own heat setting.

I rate this product an 8. I would recommend it.

❤ KQC Thermal Shine Spray ❤



This product is an all in one heat protectant and shine spray. It costs $13.99 on flatironexperts website.

I have used the spray once on my hair extensions. I didnt experience any issues. I believe this is a good product. It didnt leave my hair sticky or greasy. It is a light spray and it does add shine to your hair. This spray also prevents frizz and detangles your hair.

❤ Pros ❤

It does exactly what it says. My hair did not feel weighed down, sticky, or greasy. The spray added shine to my hair. It has an easy to use spray nozzle and it doesnt spray everywhere.

❤ Cons ❤

The cost is pretty expensive compared to other heat protectants or shine sprays.

I rate this product a 9. I would recommend it.

❤ Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque ❤

The Macadamia deep repair masque 251ml is a revitalizing hair reconstructor. It helps dry and damaged hair. This product has macadamia oil, argan oil, tea tree oil, chamomile oil, aloe and algae extracts. Its suppose to rebuild your hair, improve elasticity and shine. The cost of this product is currently $28.99 on flatironexperts website. They have three different sizes of this product.

BABY!!!! This right here is the BOMB.com I used this product on my natural hair and it had my hair feeling luscious. I really love this product. It smells scrumptious. On my wash day, I shampooed my hair with African black soap and followed up with the deep repair masque. I left it in for 30-45 minutes. Afterwards my hair felt super soft and when I blow-dried my hair out it was super straight. I will continue to use this product at least once a month.

The deep repair masque left my hair feeling really nice. My hair was soft, straight, and rejuvenated.

The cost is pretty expensive.

❤ Put That Frizz To Rest ❤

Whether you are wearing LBS hair extensions or virgin hair, you can come across that pesky four letter word... FRIZZ!!! We all hate it and don't understand why our lovely hair extensions have it.



❤ Frizz can present itself if you are...

❤ Using wrong styling products
❤ Not applying products correctly
❤ Over-use of heating tools
❤ Low- No Maintenance
❤ Have dry hair extensions
❤ Over-coloring

Don't worry we have all done one of the things listed above. It's ok... We are here to help you put that FRIZZ to rest!!!

❤ If you are experiencing frizzy hair or frizzy ends, Try these easy steps...

#1 Use a frizz tamer or anti-frizz serum. This product contains oils that will help you when  smoothing and straightening your hair extensions. Apply the serum throughout the hair and focus on the ends of your hair the most.

#2 Wash you extensions with a clarifying shampoo or a gentle shampoo. Make sure your shampoo does not contain sulfate. When washing your hair extensions, try to gently lather the hair without scrunching.

#3 Apply a good conditioner to your hair extensions the exact way you applied your shampoo. Let the conditioner sit on your hair for a few minutes and allow it to soak up moisture. Make sure you rinse out the conditioner with cool water. (FYI cool water locks in moisture to your hair extensions). Apply a leave-in conditioner



#4 After shampooing and conditoning your hair extensions, pat dry the hair gently with a terry cloth towel.

#5 Let your hair air-dry

#6 To prevent you hair extensions from frizzing up again try to use a light moisturizer

❤Zury Zury Zury!!! I love Zury. This hair has a yaky/silky texture. It curls beautifully. It  has a little bit of shedding but is manageable and not a lot of tangling. This hair can last up to a month.

#3 Onyx Essence Black Diamond Hair

❤ This hair is sort of tricky. It can be your best friend and then your worst enemy. The hair does tangle and shed. The tangling and shedding can be minimal and can get a little out of hand. Black Diamond hair usually last for about two weeks then you need to lay it to rest for a few weeks then bring it back out. You can continue to wear this hair for a few years but it does need a lot of tender love and care. Herbal Essences products can repair the hair. It curls very nicely with any heating tool and can be purchased mainly anywhere.

#4 Milkyway Saga Gold Remy Yaky Hair

❤ I truly like his hair. It is fairly inexpensive at the LBS and online. Milkyway Saga is very good remy hair. It curls beautifully and doesnt really tangle nor shed. It does have a yaky texture to it and blends well with African American hair. While wearing this hair we didnt experience too many issues.

#5 Evertress Chocolate Yaky Hair

 ❤ This hair right here ladies is the business. I adore this hair. It is very inexpensive and can be found at selective hair websites. I am not sure if they are at LBS though. The quality of the hair is gorgeous. I have used this hair for quickweave wigs, u-part wigs, and sew-in weaves. Evertress Chocolate hair can last up to a month or more depending on your care techniques. The hair can curl easily with any heating tool and they last for a long time.

#6 Sensationnel Goddess Remi Hair

❤Goddess Remi has various textures and packaging for this hair. They have the gold & red pack (goddess remi ), silver & red pack (select goddess remi), purple & silver (limited edition) I have tried all three and they are all of good quality. The hair does shed and tangle a little but it is manageable.

❤ 4 Easy Ways You Could Be Damaging Your Hair Extensions ❤

You just purchased some Fabulous hair extensions from your favorite hair company. The curls are popping, the straight hair is flowing, and the waves are waving. A few weeks later, you noticed that your fabulous hair is not so fabulous. You have tried to co-wash your way back to fierce hair and deep condition/condition deep your hair. Now you see nothing is working. Let us let you in on a little secret: there is a chance that you have damaged your perfect & fabulous hair extensions.



I am here to tell you there are 4 easy ways you could have damaged your hair extensions. Are you ready to find out?!?! LETS GET IT!!!

#1 Over Heating/Over Styling: Every Hair Doll should know that if you apply too much heat to your hair extensions you can cause permenant damage. If you are constantly using a flat-iron, deep waver, heat rollers, or a curling wand (YOU NEED TO STOP!!!) Trying to style you hair with a heating tool everyday can be harmful to your hair extensions and will leave you with dry, lifeless, and dull hair.

❤ If you really, really, and desperately need that certain hairstyle everyday try different alternatives. You can use various types of rollers or rods to achieve that look such as flexi-rods.
We are not saying get rid of using your heating tools. We just want you to use it sparingly and make sure you are using a heat protectant or serum.

#2 Overload of Products: You may feel that your hair extensions might need oil, heat protectant, ultra-shine spray, straightening serum, frizz-ease spray, gel, curling cream, or other products. You have applied these products in your hair for the past few weeks and we know you are starting to get product buildup. You have just experienced product overload.

❤Hair Dolls try to understand that less products is better for your hair. If you need to use certain products throughout the week. Make sure you follow-up with co-washing, sulfate-free shampooing, or deep conditioning you hair.

#3 No Night Protection: Dolls, you may feel that you can just close those sleepy eyes and go to bed without any protection for your hair. What is night protection???? It is protecting your hair with a scarf while you sleep. It is best to use a silk or satin scarf to cover you hair extensions. This can help you avoid tangling, matting, and having to re-style your hair in the morning.

#4 Use of Dull Trimmers or Razors: Some of you may think that cutting your hair into that certain style is the best thing to do and it is!!! You need to make sure that the trimmers or razors you are using are not dull, kitchen scissors, school scissors, or house scrissors. Using these type of scissors or razors can cause split ends to your hair extensions. We know a lot of you have not thought about this. You probably thought this is not my real or nautral hair so its not going to affect my extensions. Dolls, you need to understand that if you are wearing hair extensions, you need to think of them as you real hair. Tell you the truth it is REAL HAIR!!! It might not be your hair but it is still HAIR, so treat it good. Use professional trimmers/scissors and razors when cutting or layering your hair.

❤ How To: Co-Wash Your Way To Fierce Hair ❤

❤ Co-Washing To Fierce Hair ❤

So… Your hair is weighing you down & looking kind of dry & dull. At the start of the week that hair was looking “Oh So Fierce”. Curls or waves was blowing in the wind & you were receiving compliments on how Gorgeous your hair was looking. Now it is the end of the week & that hair is beginning to look Not So Nice!! We have one word for you: Co-Wash!!! Yes!!! NVMyHair Dolls it is time to co-wash that hair & revitalize it. If you have read our previous post on “What’s the Big FUSS on Co-washing?” you would know how beneficial it is to co-wash your hair extensions or your natural hair. Co-washing is cleansing the hair with the use of a good conditioner. You should be doing this at least once a week w/ the conditioner of your chose. If you do not know what conditioner to use take a look at our post on “Best Products For Your Hair Extensions.”  We are here to give you instructions on how to Co-wash your hair into Fierce hair. Take a LOOK!!!



❤ Instructions ❤

#1 Detangle your hair w/ a wig brush, deman brush, or wide tooth comb. Make sure you go from tips to the root of your hair.

#2 Section your natural hair or hair extensions in 2-6 sections

#3 Dampen you hair with water and apply a generous amount of conditioner to each section of you natural hair or hair extensions

#4 Make sure each section is lathered and saturated from root to tip

#5 After applying the conditioner you can work it into your scalp and the shaft of the hair.

#6 Time to rinse with cool water (make sure you rinse all the conditioner out)

#7 Air dry your hair and style as usual

Following these steps to co-wash your natural hair or hair extensions will lead you back to Fierce hair!!!!

Deep Conditioning/Conditioning Deep should be achieved at least every other week or your personal preference. This routine needs to be done so your NVMyHair can revitalize itself back to being bouncy, luxurious, fabulous & fierce!!!
When you Deep Condition/Condition Deep your hair, you should try to use a protein deep conditioner, moisturizing deep conditioner, or thick & creamy deep conditioner. Ok… Now let’s get to the GOOD Stuff!!!

❤ How To Deep Condition/Condition Deep ❤

#1 Comb or Brush your NVMyHair using a wide tooth comb or wig brush

#2 Divide your NVMyHair into sections (2 or 4 )

#3 Apply the deep conditioner of your choice to all sections. Make sure you saturate your hair with the conditioner & concentrate on the problem areas

#4 Apply your plastic shower cap or hair bonnet

#5 Use Heat:
❤ Sit under a warm hooded dryer
❤  Take a hot shower
❤  Wrap your hair in a heated towel
❤ Use your hair dryer

#6 Leave conditioner on 15-30 minutes or you can leave on however long you want. Just make sure your hair is deep conditioning/conditioning deep!!!

#7 Time to Rinse

#8 Comb or Brush hair from Tips to Root!!!

#9 Style your NVMyHair

Have you ever purchased hair extensions and wasn’t sure what products to use on your hair.  You might have used a certain product on your virgin hair, remy hair, virgin remy hair or LBS hair and it just wasn’t doing it for you. Well, we are here to guide you in choosing the best products for your hair.
We know you are thinking there are so many brands out there, how do you choose. The best thing to do is research & experiment. We have done our own research & experimented with a lot of products. So let’s get started!!!

As a hair extension wearer you need to know what type of hair you are rocking. You should be asking yourself these questions:

❤ #1 What type of hair are you rocking? ❤

❤ First question: Is your hair virgin, remy, virgin remy, local beauty supply (LBS), human hair, human hair/synthetic fiber?

❤ Second question: What is your hair origin? Is it Brazilian, Indian, Malaysian, Peruvian, Chinese, Russian, Mongolian, & etc..

❤ Third Question: What is your hair texture? There are various hair textures within the hair extensions world. You could be rocking natural straight, natural wavy,  natural curly, or steam permed into other different textures.

Even if you do answer these questions it still can be very difficult to make a decision on what products you want to buy but it can help you determine what brands & products you should start to look for. If you use the right products for your type of hair, your hair extensions will look & continue to look  fierce until they are removed & re-installed.

❤ What’s The BIG FUSS On Co-Washing ❤

Hello Hair Dolls!!

I want to talk to you about Co-Washing!!! I know you have asked yourself & others “What’s the Big FUSS on Co-washing?” Well I am here to tell you what co-washing is & what’s the big fuss.
Everyone needs to co-wash their hair regardless if you are rocking the natural look, relaxed look, or wearing hair extensions. Co-washing is very good for the hair. Now let’s find out WHY!!

❤ What is Co-Washing? ❤

Co-washing is a term referred to as conditioner washing, conditioner rinse, or conditioner-only washing. It is where you are cleansing your hair with conditioner. When you co-wash your hair, you are using a conditioner of your chose & not shampoo. It can be accomplished in different ways & with any conditioner. Every doll should co-wash their hair at least once a week. Some may want to co-wash their hair more frequently such as 2 to 3 times a week. We say Knock Yourself Out!!! Feel free to co-wash as many times as you feel your hair needs it. Note: Be mindful of what your hair texture is to determine how many times your hair needs to be co-washed. You don’t wan to overdue it!!! Co-washing your hair too frequently can lead to over-moisturizing. Yes, this can happen Dolls!!! If your hair is feeling gummy, cool it on the co-washing.
NVMyhair Dolls, you can use any brand of conditioner: expensive or inexpensive. We do want you to know that certain conditioners can help your hair or hair extensions better than others. ❤ How To Care For Your Hair Extensions ❤

Hello Hair Dolls!!
Just wanted to give All MY DOLLS a heads up on How To Care For Your Hair Extensions. So…. You just purchased some virgin hair. Are you excited? Well I am!!!  Here are some easy steps YOU can take to care for your hair to make sure that it is long lasting. Let’s get right to the POINT!!!
❤ Care #1: Co-Wash your HAIR!!!

I can’t stress enough on washing your hair. Co-washing will assist in keeping your hair clean, free from dryness & dullness. When you first get your Hair & take it out of the package, Co-wash it!!! You can co-wash your hair with a conditioner of your chose or conditioners I recommended from my ❤ Best Products For Your Hair Extensions ❤ post. Co-washing should be done at least once a week. Doing this step will keep your hair moisturized & shiny. Also, it will DEFINE & MAKE your Curls & Waves POP back!!! ❤ Care #2: Keep It Air-Dried!!!
Once that hair is washed, LET IT AIR-DRY!!!! Letting your hair air-dry will help it in the long run & it doesn’t hurt (WE PROMISE)!!! This will prevent heat damage, which you can DEFINITELY experience if you LOVE blow-drying. I know what you are thinking: “Blow-drying is so much faster.” “Well tough!!!” Air-drying your hair will keep that moisture you just put in it from co-washing. Now I don’t want you walking around with water dripping everywhere. You can towel dry your hair before air-drying by using an ultra-absorbent towel. This will remove the excess water from your hair and allow you to walk around with ease. Let’s MOVE on to Care #3!!!

❤ Care #3: Seal Your Wefts Before Hair Install!!!
After you co-wash your hair & let it air-dry, you should seal your wefts. ALWAYS seal your wefts. Now I know you are asking yourself-Why should I seal my wefts? Sealing your wefts will prevent shedding. Everyone knows how hair shedding can be a BIG PAIN in the NECK!!! Every time you run your hands through your beautiful hair extensions, HERE comes strands after strands or clumps after clumps of hair. How annoying is that!!  Note: your hair extensions will shed even after sealing your wefts but you should not experience excessive shedding. Make sure when sealing your wefts you are applying the sealant to both sides of the weft. This will guarantee your wefts are sealed tight. Depending on how long you keep your hair extensions in, you might want to re-seal your wefts. All products wear off especially if you are manipulating it on a daily basis (washing, combing, brushing, & pulling). ❤ Care #4: Protect That Hair From HEAT!!!
Bone Straight, Spiral Curls, Wavy Waves, Sexy Curls, Ringlets, Kim Kardashian Curls, Beach Waves, & etc.. These are the different ways you want your hair to look. Think about how you achieve these different looks,I Will Wait… I know your secret!! It’s by flat irons, blow dryers, curling irons, heated rollers, & curling wands!! It is okay to use these heating tools but make sure you are protecting your hair from HEAT. Use a heat protectant spray, oil, or serum. Please do this each time you apply heat to your hair. We don’t want you walking around tossing dry, stiff, no body, non-flowing hair. Treat your heat protectant like it’s your Best Friend & you can’t live without it. Trust me, it will treat you the same!! Let’s MOVE on to Care #5!!!

❤ Care #5: Tips To Root!!!
Everyday you are going to comb, brush, or run your fingers through your hair. You might do this multiple times throughout the day. This is what we do & have to do, I can’t HELP it!! You probably are doing this right now or just finished a few minutes ago. STOP right NOW!!!! How did you comb, brush or run your fingers through your hair? I hope you did it the right way. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS do Tips To Root!! What is Tips To Root? This is when you take your comb, brush, or fingers & start at the tips of your hair and work your way up to the root (weft ) of your hair. Combing, brushing, or running your fingers through your hair will minimize excessive shedding and tangling. No one wants to see a BIG load of hair in the bathroom sink or floor!!! Let’s MOVE on to Care #6!!!

❤ Care #6: Deep Condition/Condition Deep!!!
It is time to wash your Hair again!! Over the weeks you might have co-washed, shampooed & conditioned, or NOTHING at all!! Today is the day we need for you to GET UP & deep condition/condition deep your Hair!!! This care tip is crucial if you have color-treated, straightened, curled, or added products to your hair. Deep conditioning/conditioning deep will help with the longevity of you hair, pulling moisture back in, & allowing it to BOUNCE back from dryness & damage. ❤ Care #7:  Wrap It Up!!!
You have had a long day or just came back from a night on the town. It is now time for All the DOLLS to go to BED & get some Beauty Rest!! Before you lay that luxurious fierce hair on that pillow, we must FIRST WRAP IT UP!!! I know you are super tired and want to go to sleep but you have to wrap up that hair doll!!! After you twist, braid, bantu-knot, flexi-rod, roller set, rod set, or wrap your Hair, use a satin cap, bonnet, or scarf. If you can, sleep on a satin pillow as well. This will keep your hair intact while you are sleeping and allow easy styling in the morning.
